Chotikasi Tours and Travels: Policy Overview

Welcome to Chotikasi Tours and Travels. Below you will find our policies regarding payments, cancellations, amendments, and refunds, structured to ensure transparency and provide clarity for our valued customers.

Payment Policies

  1. Cheque Payments:

    • Accepted for bookings made more than 50 days before travel.
    • No additional fees for payments via cheque or direct deposit.
  2. Credit Card Payments:

    • Required for bookings within 14 days of travel.
    • By providing your credit card details and accepting our terms and conditions, you authorize Chotikasi Tours and Travels to debit funds from your card as per our Direct Debit Request Service Agreement.
    • Please note, your bank or credit card provider may apply currency conversion fees.

Cancellation and Refund Policies

  1. Cancellation Fees:

    • Within 7 days prior to travel: 100% of the total package cost.
    • 8-14 days prior to travel: 75% of the total package cost.
    • 14-29 days prior to travel: 50% of the total package cost.
    • 30 days or more prior to travel: Advance amount is non-refundable.

    Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the consultant handling your booking. Some accommodation and tour products may incur additional cancellation charges, which will be communicated at the time of booking.

  2. Refunds:

    • Requests must be made in writing within 10 days of completing travel arrangements.
    • A processing fee of INR 2,000 applies to all approved refunds.
    • No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to inclement weather or illness, or for unused services once travel has commenced.

Amendment Fees

  • For bookings up to INR 20,000: INR 2,000 per amendment.
  • For bookings over INR 20,000: INR 4,000 per amendment.
  • Amendments during tours will incur additional charges.

Late Booking Fees

  • A fee of INR 2,000 may be applied for bookings made within 72 hours prior to departure, depending on administrative requirements.

Insurance and Incident Reporting

  • Tour costs do not include insurance premiums. Clients are advised to arrange their own insurance cover.
  • Any incidents, including injuries or service issues, must be reported immediately to allow us to rectify the situation or provide assistance.

Additional Policies

  • Accommodation: Rates are generally quoted in INR. Check-in and check-out times vary by hotel and are subject to their policies. Valid ID proof may be required at check-in.
  • Meals: Pre-set menus are provided, and special dietary requests cannot be guaranteed
